These include (among others) new MD potentials, PSFGen update, Automated Ligand Searcher enhancement etc. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;
Due to these updates, older MD tasks might not be able to run properly, if restarted or cloned. The new cluster, maintained by the &lt;a href="https://quantbiolab.com"&gt;QuantBio group&lt;/a&gt; at the &lt;a href="https://uol.de"&gt;Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg&lt;/a&gt;, will offer the group members and the development team the possibility to test new features in VIKING more efficiently and independent on external supercomputers. Full access to the resource also provides opportunities for experimenting freely with modern hardware and supercomputer software.&lt;/p&gt;

IDAA is a fast, accurate and cost-efficient INDEL detection technique which is used for practical genome editing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;ProfileIt, a tool used as part of the IDAA analysis, can be employed for analyzing data produced by genetic analyzer devices. It is implemented fully as part of the VIKING platform and is owned by &lt;a href="https://cobotechnologies.com/"&gt;COBO Technologies ApS&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;/p&gt;

The new task is designed for constructing polypeptide chains, allowing appending existing protein structures or just constructing a chain by itself.&lt;/p&gt;


&lt;p&gt;In the nature of VIKING, Pep McConst is designed to achieve results without the need to indulge in extensive coding. One just needs to supply a standard amino acid sequence and, possibly, a structure file in a commonly used format (PDB/XYZ), and Pep McConst will start working. It is also possible to specify the secondary structure, a chain and the number of runs.&lt;/p&gt;
