New internal computational resource

The VIKING infrastructure has been expanded with a new internal computational resource, which will be used for testing and development. The new cluster, maintained by the QuantBio group at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg, will offer the group members and the development team the possibility to test new features in VIKING more efficiently and independent on external supercomputers. Full access to the resource also provides opportunities for experimenting freely with modern hardware and supercomputer software.
